Thailand Training Camp 2026 – Train, Travel, and Experience Paradise

Two Weeks in Paradise (With Punches Included)

After an unforgettable return to Thailand in 2025, we’re heading back — and you’re invited.
Join Function First Martial Arts for our next Thailand Training Camp, taking place in August 2026 on the stunning island of Koh Samui.

This is the ultimate mix of training, relaxation, and adventure — open to fighters, families, and anyone who loves travel and challenge.

FLIGHTS

Train at Lamai Muay Thai Camp – Koh Samui (link below)

We’ll be training at the legendary Lamai Muay Thai Camp, one of Thailand’s most authentic and respected gyms.
You’ll train alongside professional Thai fighters and world travellers who share a passion for Muay Thai and self-improvement.

Training sessions run twice daily:
🥊 Morning: 7:00am – 9:00am
🔥 Evening: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Private lessons are super cheap and available every day with the finest coaches on earth

It’s intense, sweaty, and deeply rewarding. You’ll learn real Thai technique, sharpen your conditioning, and soak up the real spirit of Muay Thai under the tropical sun.

Don’t worry — the sessions are open to all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned fighters. Our coaches will be there every step of the way to guide, support, and occasionally laugh with you when the heat gets you.

An Adventure Beyond the Gym

Of course, it’s not all about training.
We’ll balance the sweat with island adventures, including:
🐷 Visiting Pig Island, home to free-roaming beach pigs
🐘 A day at a rescued elephant sanctuary, learning about ethical animal care
🏯 Exploring ancient Buddhist temples and Thai culture
🏖 Relaxing on white sand beaches, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and watching sunsets that don’t look real

Families are welcome — there’s plenty to enjoy for everyone, whether they train or just come along for the ride.

Real Fighters. Real Experience. Real Stories.

Our last trip had it all. Coach Ash booked one-on-one sessions with Thai trainers who pushed her limits.
Coach Dom stepped into the ring at Chaweng Stadium, taking on a Thai fighter named Singthong with over 100 fights under his belt. Dom went the full five rounds in his first full Thai rules fight — brutal knees and all — and even landed a clean elbow to remind everyone that Function First doesn’t fold easily.

These moments — the challenge, the respect, the shared experience — are what make the Thailand trip unforgettable.
